Example Rotate RGB

This image has three regions: from left to right, rotated one, two, and three times (three times constitutes a return to the original colors).

Rotate RGB is a mask in GMask.

The mask takes the red, green, and blue (RGB) channels of each pixel of the selection and shifts them. A demonstration of the effects of repeated Rotate RGB masks on an example pixel:

  1. rgb(128,64,0) would become
  2. rgb(0,128,64) which would become
  3. rgb(64,0,128) before finally returning to
  4. rgb(128,64,0)

As is demonstrated, since there are three channels, three consecutive applications of the mask will return the image to its original state.
